A Space of Art and Wellness

The Observatory is a unique digital art pop-up designed to provide a sanctuary of calm and reflection during winter's toughest month. This year’s theme, Being Human, invites visitors to experience art and technology in new ways, promoting mental wellness and emotional connection.

Free entry: Donations encouraged for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

Location: In the heart of London’s Eastern City district.

Nestled in the heart of London’s financial district, The Observatory transforms its surroundings into a haven of introspection and connection through two innovative audio-visual experiences: Harmony 2.0 and Soul Paint. Both experiences invite participants to explore emotions and creativity while fostering collective well-being.

Harmony 2.0

Designed by Ela Brunel Hawes in collaboration with We Are Midnight, this group meditation experience harnesses EEG technology to transform participants' collective calmness into mesmerising visuals, fostering mindfulness and shared moments of serenity.

Soul Paint

Narrated by Rosario Dawson, this award-winning virtual reality journey combines body mapping, 3D drawing, and movement to explore emotions, blending art and wellness to inspire creativity and self-discovery.

Do I need to book?

Advance booking is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Our hosts can advise on same-day availability.

How do I get there?

We’re a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. Directions will be included in your confirmation email.

How much does it cost?

The experience is free, though donations to CALM are welcome.

What do I need?

You don’t need anything special—just arrive at the start of your booked time slot.

What is the access like?

The venue has step-free access from the street and is wheelchair-friendly. Support dogs are welcome.

Can children attend?

Yes. The experience is recommended for ages 13 and older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
